Sally Elford

I find her silk screen prints to be the most captivating, with stippled overlapping of colour yet intricate designs within the solid shapes creating depth. The bold contours against the often patterned backgrounds create an effective contrast, bringing more definition to the beautifully simple prints.

Andrew Waddington

Influenced by the ancient cave paintings, his work features abstract sweeps of colour for the background from which natural elements and animals emerge. I like the way the colour themes of alternating hot and cold seem to represent the weather and the delicate linear forms really capture the fragile balance of nature.

Mark Hearld

Fallen in love with Mark Hearld's work, inspired by the British countryside which is so beautiful this time of year. It's interesting how he produces such a wide tonal range in some the prints he does using the limited colours effectively. I also like the definition of the print against the collaged backgrounds.

Tim Walker

I've actually had a couple of his images for a while but only recently found out who took them. I love the way the silhouette of the outfits in his fashion photography are reflected in whatever object or background is juxtaposed against them. The lighting in the photos is always very striking and is what I find to be one of the defining characteristics of his work along with the detail and imagination of his ideas.
